Stackable Power Storage – Expandable Lithium Backup for Off-Grid & Grid-Tied Systems

The BigBattery ETHOS 48V 15.3kWh Stackable Power Storage System delivers clean, reliable, and expandable energy for off-grid living, emergency backup, solar storage, and residential grid-tie applications. Built for performance, safety, and modular flexibility.

This 3-module system (15.36kWh total) includes the ETHOS control box, with LED display and CANBus/RS485 communication. IP65-rated casing, auto cell balancing, and internal fire suppression ensure safe and long-lasting operation.

Each module is UL9540A & UL1973 certified. When paired with a compatible 12,000W LUXPower inverter, the system is UL9540-certified—making it eligible for net metering and tax incentives in many states.

Sizing Metric Formula & Example
Energy Consumption (Wh) Formula: Watts × Hours
Example: 60W × 4 hrs = 240 Wh
Battery Capacity (Ah) Formula: Watt-hours ÷ System Voltage (V)
Example: 240 Wh ÷ 12V = 20 Ah
Inverter Size (W) Formula: Total Watts × 1.25 (safety margin)
Example: 300W × 1.25 = 375W → Use 400W inverter
Total Load Power (W) Formula: Sum of all appliance watts used simultaneously
Example: Light (10W) + Fan (75W) = 85W
Runtime (hrs) of Battery Formula: (Battery Ah × Voltage) ÷ Total Load (W)
Example: (100Ah × 12V) ÷ 240W = 5 hrs
